East Gosford Specialists is a private billing clinic. Payment is required at the conclusion of your appointment. Pension and Health Care Card holders are offered a discounted rate (approximately 10% discount). We do not routinely bulk bill or support “gap payments”.

We lodge an electronic claim on your behalf with Medicare at the conclusion of the visit, providing you have a valid GP referral (within 12 months). Patients whose banking details are registered with Medicare will be rebated by Medicare, if eligible, directly into their nominated account, usually the next business day.

LATE CANCELLATION AND FAILURE TO ATTEND

East Gosford Specialists always try to assist patients with appointment reminders via SMS or phone. We do ask that you take note of your appointment date when making the appointment and contact us to reschedule if you are no longer able to attend, and we understand unexpected changes happen.

We will make every attempt to accommodate late changes in appointment, but a cancellation fee of $80 may be charged (at the discretion of your doctor) if appointments are not attended or changed within 2 business days. Payment of any cancellation fee must be addressed prior to further appointments being made.
